MedVault Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using MedVault you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MedVault for your own personal health record-keeping, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
3. Not medical advice
MedVault is a personal health organizer, not a medical device and not a provider of medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not for emergencies — call 911 or your local emergency number in an emergency. See the Medical & AI Disclosure.
4. Your responsibility to verify
AI extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information before relying on it, and for the accuracy of data you enter.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app or any associated API/proxy, including abuse, automated scraping, attempts to exceed rate limits, reverse engineering, or using the service to violate any law or another person's rights.
6. Subscriptions
Paid features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions processed by Apple. Billing, renewal, and refunds follow Apple's rules and your App Store account settings. Manage or cancel in your Apple subscription settings.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI output.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedVault is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on app output. (Final caps and carve-outs subject to counsel review.)
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the app and erase your data at any time.
10. Governing law and disputes
Governing law, venue, and any arbitration terms are to be determined with counsel.
11. Changes
We will update the version and effective date above when these Terms change.
